The Dead Milkmen and The Violent Femmes had a crack baby and named him The Needies. This acoustic rock outfit from Lubbock, Texas is too funny to be emo and too good looking to be folk. Song topics include parking tickets, lame open mic nights, demons sent from hell to deceive men, character studies of the socially inept, and making out. This all might not make much sense, so just imagine if Bright Eyes gained some weight and Tenacious D put on sweaters. Anti-folk at its finest.
