Mark Spence

What do you think of Mark
 Spence?

I feel something like love
for him
He is not easy to get over
He goes down easy
Mark is chasin' the wrong
dream
I hate it when he sings to
me

In December of 2001, one month after his twenty-second birthday, Mark Spence released his second LP, "cut with junk," and proptly ceased to exist.  In a single gesture, he expanded his small catalog and sealed it with his retirement.  Mark would continue to play, ut only with the newly formed band called Sickboy.

Beginning at age 17, Mark's career of five years amounted to a haphazard assortment of gigs, a debut album that he tries to forget, a 7- inch single, critical praise, and more Dylan comparisons than is healthy for anyone.  That's all that can really be said.
