expelled from the group by the singer for insubordination. In 1998, he left for a self-imposed exile in New York, where he ended up in a the Lower East Side Antifolk scene . Over the next five years, he recorded and released 4 CD’s, and married popular local artist and songwriter Patsy Grace in New York.

After the birth of their first son, Julian, the pair decided to relocate back to Los Angeles, a move with such disastrous consequences that they quickly found themselves in New Orleans, where they now reside.

Grey’s 1998 debut CD, Midnight Eye, was produced in New York by Nathan Weaver, who also worked with Jim Sheppard and the Columbus Ohio Lo-Fi band V3. 1999 and 2000’s Crazy Like an Ambush and The Green Train were produced by Spencer Chakedis at Balloon Heaven Studios in Jersey City, NJ. 2002’s Kamikaze was produced by Dane Johnson and Matt Cusack at Grisly Labs, also in Jersey City, NJ. For Film and TV Liscensing, Grey is represented by the Falling Elevator! Music Group who can be reached at fallingelevator@earthlink.net
